Back in the USA!
Today was mostly a driving day - down through Banff to Kootenay National Park in British Columbia and on to Montana.
We did marvel at Marble Canyon (yes Kirk - more waterfalls!). This was a very deep (over 3000 feet deep on one side), narrow canyon due to a combination of its formation by a smaller glacier and years of erosion from the river running through it. Once again the pictures fail to provide much perspective.
We also spied our first wolf alongside the road (sorry no pictures), many deer and some goats. (Still no bears - I think they heard we bought bear spray and are afraid of us now...).
We are now settled in in Whitefish, Montana.
Did I tell you I love waterfalls? yes, I love waterfalls!
