In the northern meadows, we saw so many bison it started to feel like seeing cows along the highway. We visited Tower Falls and ended our visit at Mammoth Springs. The visitor center was pretty Zooey with Japanese being the predominate language spoken.
Our next stop was the Computer and Robotics museum in Bozeman Mt. The museum was small but the items on display were classics like the very first Apple computer, the last NASA computer from Apollo 11, the first mainframe -with 32 KB RAM weighing 1000 pounds, and one of only 6 ENIGMA machines still in existence. And Robby Robot was there too!! Cool.
Our last stop was the Lewis and Clark cavern. Trying another cave seemed risky after the Jewel Cave let down but this cave was entirely different. It had incredible formations and the cave itself was unique in its ruggedness. There were many places we had to kneel under and squeeze through formations, and one spot where we literally slid down the cave like on a playground slide. Our visit took 2 hours, covered 2 miles, and included over 600 stairs. My fitbit should be proud.
