Timeless trees

One of the advantages of being back in the good ole U S of A is access to stores like Target.  We spent time at Target replenishing our supply of car snacks, trail mix and, of course, Diet Dr Pepper. Then I got a haircut while Karla did some shopping.

In the afternoon we checked out Glacier Park to see how crowded it is (answer: very) and hiked a short hike through an old growth (300 + years) cedar forest. It reminded us of the redwoods in California. And there was the compulsory waterfall at the end of trail.  We are hoping some of the traffic in the park was from weekenders and we will be seeing less of it going forward. We also snagged a cabin inside the park so may be out of wifi range for the next couple days.

Now finishing Father's Day like a lot of you watching game 7 of the NBA finals and staring out the window at snow covered peaks.

  1. How is Karla's hair holding up? She was worried about that before she left. Wasn't that a sweet comment Kyle made on Facebook? Such a sweet kid, or Joseph would correct me and say "sweet young man!"
